About Us

Since 1969, the brokers of The Capital Group Insurance Inc. (incorporated in 1992) have served Canadian businesses and individuals, providing a wide range of insurance products and services.

Traditionally, our core focus has been employee benefits, group pensions, and association plans. In serving business owners and high net worth individuals, we have developed specialized knowledge of life, critical illness, and disability insurance products, and their immense value in preserving wealth in a variety of circumstances.

As we serve thousands of employees through various health insurance plans, we are frequently asked about purchasing life and critical illness insurance, adding top-up travel insurance for people going on extended out-of-country trips, and where to find updated fund values for segregated fund investments.

We designed TheCapitalGroup.ca to be more than just an online brochure; it is a useful tool for accessing information, generating insurance quotes, purchasing travel coverage, and custom-designing your employee benefits program. We kept the content basic and informative without being too detailed. This will undoubtedly lead to questions, which we are happy to field over the telephone or via email.

We've been on the web since launching our first site in 1998, GroupInsuranceQuotes.com. In 2004 we launched LifestyleAccount.com, a site specialized in defined contribution benefit plans. We've consolidated our web presence with the 2010 launch of TheCapitalGroup.ca, and we hope you agree that the result achieves our goal of providing improved service and up-to-date information and advice.

We are always here to answer your questions and we welcome your feedback. Thank you for your continued trust and support.
